Time to Shine (2013) Synopsis :
While training to run an Ultra Marathon with his father, a U.S. Marine is deployed to Afghanistan where he is severely injured by a roadside bomb. Paralyzed from the neck down, he returns home to his family to begin a long physical and emotional rehabilitation process. While his wife and young daughter put on brave faces, the change is extremely difficult for everyone involved. Eventually, the injured soldier falls into a deep depression and gives up on his rehabilitation efforts. In a desperate attempt to rally her husband's spirits, the Marine's wife suggests that his father should proceed with the 100-mile run while pushing his injured son in a racing stroller. The decision seems irrational, but father and son set off on race day, determined to reach the finish line at all costs. Throughout their grueling journey, they find themselves questioning both their physical capabilities and spiritual faith. Can their bond carry them across the finish line?.......Plot: Full synopsis »
